Seismic behavior of MSCSS based on story drift and failure path

Abstract The Mega-Sub Controlled Structure System (MSCSS) is a new type of seismic structural system. This research aims to find weak members in the structure and better describe failure state. To achieve this, we enhanced story drift ratio indicator by combining it with path proposed comprehensive that can more accurately behavior structure. concept proposed. waves used analysis this article are generated Hilbert-Huang transformation method. under random calculated weighted rank-sum checked on MSCSS or without lead-rubber bearings traditional calculation results show alone cannot fully reflect damage structures earthquakes. combined comprehensively assist design optimization structures.
